You can allocate earned overtime to Comp Time and/or Paid Overtime if the Overtime Option setting assigned to your primary Time Reporting Group (TRG) is equal to one of the Comp Time Overtime options. The Comp Time Overtime options are implemented only if your organization allows its employees to earn Comp Time in place of Paid Overtime.
When your assigned primary TRG is set to allow you to earn Comp Time in place of Paid Overtime, you can select one of these options when submitting a time entry request:
I want excess time applied to Comp Hrs — select this option to put the earned overtime hours entered on the time entry request into the Comp Time bucket
I want excess time applied to Paid OT — select this option to put the earned overtime hours entered on the time entry request into the Paid Overtime bucket
Overtime is calculated based on your organization's business rules when you enter your time on the time entry request and the totals displayed in the Comp Time and Paid OT columns of the Time Entry Totals grid on the Time Request Entry form.
To allocate Comp Time and Paid Overtime:
